Technical Research Paper Posters

Call for Reviewers

IFT is recruiting science of food professionals to serve as Technical Research Paper reviewers. Selected volunteers will be responsible for evaluating abstracts which may be presented as posters at FIRST 2022. 

CRITERIA

Abstracts will be scored on the the following criteria: scientific merit, relevancy to the science of food, innovation, practical application of content, and quality of abstract. 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Expertise and professional experience within the science of food
  • An IFT Member. Please have your IFT membership #ID available when completing the Reviewer Application
  • Commitment to complete an online review of all assigned submissions (up to 20) between January 24 - February 11, 2022

KEY DATES

  • October 18, 2021: Call for Abstracts Opens
  • January 14, 2021: Call for Abstracts Closes at 11:59pm CST
  • January 14, 2021: Reviewer application closes at 11:59pm CST. 
  • January 24– February 11, 2022: Abstract Review Period
  • March 2022: Submitters to be notified the status of their proposals
